Severe Weather support

The Severe Weather Emergency Protocol Team (SWEP) aims to support single adults or childless couples from a variety of backgrounds, and to provide an offer of emergency accommodation when there is severe weather forecast. SWEP operates from 1st November – 31st March each year and includes an element of morning, afternoon, evening and waking night shifts onsite in some settings and weekend work, all flexible to suit a volunteer’s existing commitments. Volunteers are provided with an extensive training programme as well as regular support and supervision. If you’d like to know more about this role, then contact us via email or phone.
