Short Talk and Meet & Greet volunteers
A 17th century building and gardens, a few miles outside Worcester, which was struck by fire in 1937 leaving substantial ruins, gardens and woodlands, which are open all year round, is looking to increase the numbers of volunteers and the roles they undertake on site. One role is for Short Talk volunteers who, when trained, would offer guided talks to visitors, helping them to understand and appreciate the history of the site. They are looking for friendly people who would feel confident in talking to small groups of people with a keen interest in
the history of the site. They are also looking for ‘Meet and Greet’ volunteers and orientate them to the site.
This would include specific information about any special event days and activities, answer immediate questions or queries visitors may have as well as provide welcome information to coach parties. If these roles are of interest, then do get in touch with us and we’ll provide more information.
