Volunteer Opportunities (08/06/2026)
An independent charity promoting the rights and interests of people facing disadvantage needs Peer Support Volunteers to support individuals who have received mental health treatment. You should be available to offer support to an individual for up to five months, to meet them weekly initially and then according to their support needs, which will usually decrease as the service user becomes more independent. You will need to be empathetic and reliable, with good communication skills. Full training and on-going support will be provided. Please note this role requires a DBS check.
