Youth Support volunteer

These days it is so important that young people have the option to attend supported youth groups but these are only able to operate by having sufficient volunteers. That’s why we are looking for volunteers who are available on the 3rd Sunday of every month to help with a city centre group. If you think you can build relationships with young people aged 11 – 17yrs, if you can support with activities such as art, music and sport and ideally and have experience or an understanding of the LGBT+ community, then this might just what you’re looking for. Excellent communication skills would be of benefit, so that you can communicate effectively with the paid staff & other volunteers, to ensure that the young people are welcomed, safe and supported.
