Armed Forces Veterans’ support

This organisation is looking for a highly motivated self-starter with
knowledge of the Armed Forces and Ex-Services charity network and the ability to understand the challenges more vulnerable veterans must overcome, particularly those who are struggling within the areas of dynamic need. The group provides a support programme for Veterans primarily identified from partner organisations in the local community, it is focussed on early intervention, support and empowerment. If you have empathy with, and a good understanding of ex-forces personnel and the challenges they can face,
are highly motivated and independent but have the resilience and ability to work with individuals with complex needs, then this could be the opportunity for you. Full training will be given and volunteers are asked to undertake 2 hours of volunteering a week, worked flexibly. If you think you can help, then contact us for more details.
