Treasurer – musical theatre group
A successful local, musical theatre group is looking for a new Treasurer to take over from their present Treasurer who is looking to step down from the role. The group has an annual turnover of about £100k and the Treasurer has a number of responsibilities. These include keeping the books for the Society’s bank accounts, payment of invoices, banking income (usually BACS) and producing a financial position statement for the monthly Trustee’s meeting. Most of the work can b done on a home computer with an average of 0.5 days per week needed. The Treasurer is also expected to become a Trustee of the Society and attend monthly meetings which are held either in the city centre or on Zoom.
